From her childhood, Hildegard (1098-1179) endowed with vision. The deal that you is not easy. Only when it begins more than 40 years, they write in three large volumes. As a mystic, abbess, composer, writer and political activist pastor she is an outstanding personality of its time and beyond.
The scenic play "I feel a rare light" paints a portrait of Hilda using a selection of their own texts. These are woven into a story arc in the inner logic of body and space. Hildegard's writings reflect her vision of the great insights into relationships between the world, man and cosmos. They also take the audience into her expressive images. Her letters show us the struggle with their inner resistance against which it must implement in Vision and Audition Received in word and deed. We learn characterized some of their self-understanding as a woman whose life from recurrent diseases. But their political commitment is in correspondence with the Emperor and prelates an expression, and even the Pope has to put up with their harsh criticism.
