Students of the Hauptschule Lavamünd back under international winners




have once again managed to pupils of primary school Lavamünd, one to win by the Federal Ministry of Education, Arts and culture internationally advertised price.

of a jury as the best and most innovative educational media projects have been identified in European schools. Overall, for 450 projects in the categories of video, radio, multimedia and print submitted.

The radio project "HAPPY HOUR" Lavamünd was the main school year as media literacy award (mla) selected winners in the category of "media training".

The students (Julia Kastionig, Christoph Lamprecht, Selina Leitner, Valerie Logar, Bernadett Maier, Alexander Thonhauser, Julia Thümmerer, Christine Tschreschnig, Melanie Woltsche, Tabea Hansche and Chris Herzele) were used to with their teacher Margaret Meyer of BMUKK closing event and award ceremony on 20 to 22 October 2010 in Vienna jungle - Theatre for Young Audiences in the Museum Quarter of Vienna invited.

The project work "Happy Hour" - one hour radio show - was developed as part of intercultural media workshop in the school year 2009/10. A making of on 22 June 2010 in the cultural hall, among other Lavamünd school projects presented.
