On Monday, 3.11. went there for all second-graders for the first time on a school trip. Target was the water towns of Suzhou and Mudu. After a nearly two-hour drive we arrived at the silk factory in Suzhou.
There we had a fascinating tour that found the children exciting. Among other things, stated that the cocoon consists of a 1km long silk thread. After the silk factory we went to a delicious buffet, which gave it everything that a child's heart could desire. OK, no fries, but there was this evening. "The good behavior" of children was raised by the other restaurant guests often, thank you for the preliminary work of the parents. After a good meal and a short catch games on the bus we went to Suzhou, where we did a very nice boat ride on one of the channels.
After the visit of a was more than 500 year old house finally put it to the hotel for room allocation.

Before we went home on Wednesday, we took a short boat ride in Mudu, only to be introduced to Chinese calligraphy.
