So, after a long break a new record. were 2 weeks ago here in a fall break (one week) and I used the time to 4 ladies and a friend from a trip to take D to Yunnan. Located on the western border with Tibet, very rural, although it has some (Chinese) small cities with 3-4 million inhabitants.
From Shanghai we flew to Kunming, where we watched the Stone Forest.
On the way back we visited a tea factory then (yes, much like in Turkey, the carpet rides). went
The beds were short, but comfortable, the bathroom facilities rather then getting used to, similar to the pieces of silver from D. In the room there were ne wash bowl and water in the thermos.
In Dali we looked at it early in the morning (before the Chinese tourists) the old town at. Of particular interest here was purely business in the only match boxes
further Lijian, a larger town with a big old city. Full noon, in the evening really crowded, you get a bit like what the Mallorca As for restaurants. We were able to drink ginger tea on the first night, a really tasty drink and from then on every time on a restaurant bill. First we went but explore the old town, the girls bought scarves and later wanted to get attention to a mountain, and Alex gave me but the rain on a lake, so I pasting the end view of Lijian. Well, yes you can see the photos anyway :-)
The next day we drove to a small town where Joseph Rock, an Austrian or Australian who has lived and has translated chinesish. With him it was his cook. The 15 RMB entrance, we gave us, while important, was again not now. Then we went to a monastery with many insane Motion detectors, where we went, at one time sang any women or a man playing the harmonica. Did you continue the "music" stopped again. Then we took a long walk through the Allgäu (one might think, at least by air, landscape and cows). It ended with Dr. Ho, the most admired man in the world. He said for me to see any damage, except for occasional back pain. But he then gave me a powder with which I mix with alcohol and should be rubbed in. I'm excited, I hope it can try this weekend. The next morning we drove
to our hiking starting point, about 1800m above sea level.
Before us was a strenuous Mountain march, which should take us to 2600m above sea level. Was then stayed in a guesthouse, which was very comfortable and prepared above all tasty food. The view on the hike on the Yangtze was really beautiful.
The last 2 days we spent in Shangri-La, where we include the second largest? Monastery in Lhasa saw. On the last night we ate nor Tibetan hot pot and had fun at "white wine" and SchnickSchnack schnuck play with the Chinese, who were in the same restaurant.
