The Little Mermaid
a fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen
The Little Mermaid would share in the immortality of the human soul. That is their desire senlichster after - just turned 15 - was allowed to rise to the sea surface. She found there all that of which you told the sisters have had: sun, moon, stars and clouds.
But the best thing is a ship and on a beautiful prince. The ship dances on Denwell until the storm goes.

The little mermaid is consumed with longing for the prince. From her grandmother she learns that she must win the love of a man to get an immortal soul.

The OPTICAL figure stage Öffl-WATT
In 1970, founded the OPTICAL-puppet theater . The "kinetic mosaic" premiered. It was followed by "moving blue" and "Fables" until 1975, the puppetry was the main occupation. Crista has studied art education at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart. Bernard is a graduate with a degree in civil engineering. But it rises during the studies as a stage technician. A premiere follows the other. They give guided tours abroad and from 1983 to 1994 study tours to the Soviet Union.
The stage has performed at numerous international puppet festivals, in France, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Ireland and Hungary. A referral by the Goethe Institute, there was extensive tours of the U.S., Canada, Africa, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Scandinavia. During the U.S. tour finished the stage and a guest performance at the World Festival of Puppet Theater 1980 in Washington.
A tour through Africa took impressions and suggestions which were incorporated in the productions. From the visual arts, rejoin the optically demanding and careful design of Figueres and set consistent feature of all the pieces went.
The repertoire includes pieces for children, from happy puppet fun for preschoolers about fairy tales, to a piece about environmental issues. There are also productions for adults and short shows for gala events and festivals in the art of Black Theatre.
